For more than 10 years, the two Danish companies, konfAir and RoVi Tech, have worked together to reduce SO2, HCL, HF, HG, dioxins, furans, metallic elements and dangerous heavy metals in flue gas from, among other things, biomass boilers and waste incineration. A collaboration that is based on fast response time, expertise and, not least, trust.
- In the EU, we must recycle if we can. But if something cannot be recycled, we burn it to convert it into electricity and heat. And this is where konfAir are helpfull. At RoVi Tech, we build complete flue gas purification systems with filters from konfAir. We use textile filter bags to collect the dust from the flue gas, says co-owner Erik Rosenkvist.
The two owners Finn Vittenbach and Erik Rosenkvist use their more than 20 years of experience from the filtration industry to offer filter solutions for a cleaner world. In concrete terms, this means the provision of facilities and services or assistance with technical problems in relation to air, gas and flue gas emissions with a mission to reduce SO2, HCL, HF, HG, dioxins, furans, metallic elements and dangerous heavy metals in the flue gas.
The collaboration between konfAir and RoVi Tech started 10 years ago with the start-up of RoVi Tech.
- We knew about them from before. And because many of our customers are in Denmark, we would like to have a Danish partner who can easily take care of our aftermarket. And we have achieved that with konfAir, explains Erik Rosenkvist from RoVi Tech and continues:
- They are very organized, they have nice employes and we trust them. In our aftermarket, others can easily come and take over. And we have experienced several people who have tried. But konfAir does not take our customers away from us, even though they have all the information and deliver directly to the customers. They work with us, as our subcontractor and partner.
When choosing suppliers, Erik Rosenkvist has few but important requirements. Customers must be serviced quickly and with the best possible solution. And it succeeds in the collaboration with konfAir.
- It is important to me that konfAir responds quickly to an order. If problems arise with our utility customers in a small town, we need a quick solution. If we can't, the customer will find a new supplier. And the solution may not be optimal or too expensive, he says as an example.
After many years of experience in the filtration industry, Erik Rosenkvist has a good grap of what needs to be ordered for various tasks. But every now and then projects come up that either create challenges or are just different, and here he appreciates having konfAir's expertise behind him:
- I know them well, and they know me. So it does not require much explanation to find the right solution, reads the short explanation, after which he elaborates on why the collaboration works so well:
We stick with konfAir as a business partner because there is a response to an inquiry or order immediately. "I don't have time" is never an answer you get at konfAir. That is why we have never asked others. It has not been necessary. I get products and help when I need it.
The many years of cooperation mean that RoVi Tech and konfAir are no longer just customers and suppliers. They are on a joint mission to clean flue gas. And although there are competitors on the market, Erik Rosenkvist has no doubts: He is happy to recommend konfAir to others:
You should choose konfAir because you can trust them. They react immediately. They work in a structured way. Here you get a stable partner, praises Erik Rosenkvist from Rovi Tech and adds in conclusion:
- I think we fit so well together because konfAir works a lot in the same way as we do in Rovi Tech. We trust our suppliers, and this provides a continuity that customers benefit from.
