Most ventilation systems have V-belts that transfer power between two axles.
As a natural extension of our sales of ventilation products, we also offer high quality V-belts for ventilation systems. It is important that the V-belts and the axles fit together to transfer the forces from the V-belt to the axle with the least possible loss. At konfAir, we therefore recommend replacing V-belts at the same time as the ventilation filters to ensure minimal energy consumption. In addition, this saves unnecessary downtime.
S = Classic V-belt that is completely smooth
X = Toothed V-belt
PZ = 10 mm (indicates the width/perimeter of the V-belt)
PA = 13 mm
PB = 17 mm
PC = 22 mm
The composition of a V-belt is indicated below:
the product is called for example XPZ 1012
X = Type of V-belt
PZ = The width/perimeter of the V-belt
1012 = Length of V-belt in mm
Wear and tear on the V-belt causes forces to be lost because the friction between the V-belt and the axle is reduced. If the axle is worn, a groove may form which the belt must be pulled free of continuously. It requires extra performance of the motor which ultimately results in a higher electricity bill. A worn V-belt or axle therefore quickly costs more in energy costs than the cost of switching to a new set.
konfAir offers a wide product range of V-belts in a high quality. There is the classic "S" and the toothed "X". Both are also available in a “Red Power” version, which is a reinforced V-belt that reduces wear and tear on the axle, decreases noise levels and reduces vibrations.
